在中国，足球并不是一种很流行的体育运动。在我读小学、初中、高中的那十二年里，校园里都没有足球场。篮球场倒是有的。班级之间的篮球比赛常常有，足球比赛从来没有听说过。因为足球运动不流行，大家对足球不了解。有些人虽然不懂足球，却也偶尔看比赛，这部分人就被称作“伪球迷”。他们或许只是对一个球星和一个球队感兴趣，只在像世界杯、欧洲杯这样的大型比赛时才看球。
想起2014年的世界杯，男友熬夜看球，我也陪着。在此之前，我对足球一窍不通，连“伪球迷”都算不上。看了那一年世界杯的不少比赛，我慢慢懂得了一部分规则，也知道哪些球队比较强，哪些球队特别弱，还记住了几个足球明星的名字。因为今年我们在英国，没有时差，不用熬夜了，看球赛看得很开心。我最喜欢德国队的穆勒。他在中国有不少粉丝，大家亲切地称他为“二娃”。你可以试着搜索“穆勒二娃”就会看到很多他在球场上的有趣的照片。
因为中国足球队一直成绩不佳，所以经常被大家调侃、开玩笑。前两天我看到一幅漫画，觉得很有意思。一男一女坐在沙发上，两人都紧盯着电视。男的说：土耳其对克罗地亚。女的问：是中超联赛么？男的答：欧洲杯。女的问：中国队在哪？男的答：和你一样在看电视。女的问：为什么不上去踢？男的答：国际足联不让……对话到最后，男的实在太无奈，就说：这是我的卡，你去逛淘宝吧！

English: Sports Fans and Fake Sports Fans
Recently the European Cup began, and domestic (Chinese) football fans are once again preparing to stay up all night to watch.
In China, Football isn’t a very popular sport. During my 12 years attending elementary school, middle school, and high school, none of my campuses had a football field. On the contrary, there was always a basketball court. In our grade there were often basketball matches, but we had never heard of a football match. Because footbal wasnt popular, nobody understood it. There were some who although lacked an understanding of football, they still occasionsally watch a match. These people have been come to known as ‘fake fans’. They may just be interested in one star player, or one team in particular, only watching things like the World Cup or the European Cup.
Thinking back on the 2014 World Cup, my boyfriend stayed up all night watching, and I kept him company. Before this point, I didn’t know the slightest thing about football, and couldn’t even be regarded as a ‘fake football fan’. As I watched that year’s many matches, I slowly began to understand the rules, and got to know which teams were strong, and which teams were weak, and even remembered some of the football star’s names. This year we are in England and there isn’t a time difference, so we don’t need to stay up all night, and are happily watching the matches. I like Germany’s Thomas Muller best. He has a lot of fans in China, and everyone warmly calls him ‘Erwa’. You can try searching for “穆勒二娃” and you will see many interesting images of him on the football field.
Because their results aren’t good, the Chinese football team is often ridiculed and joked about. Two days ago I saw cartoon that I thought was funny. A man and a woman are sitting on a sofa, both gazing at the television. The man says: “Turkey versus Croatia.” The woman says: “Is it a Chinese Super League match?” The man replies: “It’s the European Cup”. The woman asks: “Where’s the Chinese team?” The man replies: “Watching it on TV like you are.” The woman asks: “Why don’t they go play?” The man replies: “FIFA doesn’t allow…” At the end of the conversation, the man says with total helplessness: “Here’s my card, why don’t you go have a look around Taobao!”
