Giản thể:

English: The City I Love – Hong Kong
Hong Kong has always been known as ‘the Jewel of the Orient’. For a long time it was an important gateway between China and the rest of the world, and it is for this reason that it rapidly became a world-class metropolis and financial centre.
When first arriving in Hong Kong, I was often surprised by the the old-fashioned roads, the turbulent crowds, the high prices, and the small and narrow rooms that are found here. Walking on the streets and in the subways, you might sigh when you see how fast-paced the lives of the people living here are; even the elevators are much faster than in other cities.
But gradually you will discover that this is a city that easily gains the love of the people. Even downtown you just have to walk a little while before you arrive at a ‘haven of peace’; maybe it’s a park, maybe it’s a little beach, whatever the case these little havens allow you to temporarily forget your busy life, and amongst the nature you are free to breathe. Although this is a financial city, it is filled with rich flavour of life. Wherever you look there are convenience stores, cafes, street-markets, and shopping malls which all make life here very convenient. Most people are cordial and friendly, attendants are very professional, and the level of English is quite high, so even foreigners who can’t speak Chinese will still feel comfortable here. Not only are there world famous and high-ranking Michelin restaurants here, there are also tea-houses and food-stalls with distinct local flavours, so there is always something that suits your taste.
Hong Kong is a very unique city. Chinese and western, new and old, fast and slow, poor and rich, so perfectly joined together. If you have a chance, come to Hong Kong and check it out!
